TW-400 Installation

2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 636

Thank you Jesse A. Pasadena, California

Hey guys,

I got a chance to get pics of the install on my 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6r 636. You have my permission to use them.

The install was very simple. I mounted the antenna on the left side of the sub frame. The control unit sits right in front of my "glove compartment". There's plenty of space there and it's not taped. I ran the wires to the battery and placed the Perimeter sensor against the right side above the battery. It fits perfect. The siren is mounted on the left side using a bolt that is threaded below the battery. It's as if it was placed there just for this. The gound wire was attached on one of the bolts that hold the cowl or passenger seat. I didn't want to drill so I mounted the LED in front of the gas tank using double sidded tape and it lights up enough for anyone to see. Lastly, I mounted the Speaker in the "glove" compartment. I just got a copy of the wiring diagram so I haven't connected the pink, brown or grey wires. So there you have it. I get lots of compliments and questions about the alarm. It's really loud and is worth a lot more then what you guys sell it for. I'm no longer scared of leaving my bike at the gym. The other day, my alarm pager went off. I walked out and a guy was walking in. He set off the perimeter. He didn't expect me to get there so fast. He came back asking me questions about it. I think he'll be a customer soon!

"The best thing about this whole experience is that I saved around $300 - $400 or more and got everything I wanted. Easy install took about 3-4 hrs and the pink and grey wire was installed by the guys at my local bike shop for around $20 bucks . This is the alarm to buy. I wish you could read my first review I sent to this site I was so pleased I sent it to the e-mail us instead of the right a review . Don't shop anywhere else This is it.." J. 11/16/06
